Program Overview

The course unlocks another level to intermediate skill user of SolidWorks software. It covers sheet metal, electrical routing, piping and tubing routes functions. Tutorials (participant will be guided by instructor) and exercises (self-training) for every chapter are provided for better understanding about the topic. The course also includes a comprehensive design project that enables participant to practice new skills by creating realistic sheet metal and routing parts.

  • To introduce SolidWorks environment.
  • To understand sheet metal part design.

  • To create and manage both pipe and tube routes.
  • To create the routing components and their design requirement.
  • To export route data and create route drawings.
  • To create custom fitting libraries.

    Participant will be able to:

  • Familiarise with sheet metal part, electrical routing, piping and tubing routes functions in SolidWorks software.
  • Demonstrate the procedure to create custom fitting libraries.
