Our Programming Dojo teaches the aspects of robot programming adopted from the most popular robotic lesson from Japan through the use of an educational robot kit named TJ3B.
As mankind progresses forward, computers are now everywhere, not only in the form of a Personal Computer (PC) and mobile phones, but computers are now in cars, smart house, home appliances and so much more. Learning how to programme is a valuable investment as it is such a big part of our daily lives today.
Program Objectives :
To enhance young generations' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
To bridge Japan's Robot Education Method in Malaysia education
To established program that offers its students a superior path in succeeding programming and science
To provide a program that has both fun and a sense of achievement upon completing each mission
TJ3B is manufactured by Daisen, Japan and was developed to cultivate creativity and promote problem solving thinking / programming skills through a step by step learning discipline.
Our Programming Dojo uses the C-Based Programing Language. For information, the C programming language is the most widely used programming language in the world. Thus a good grasp of the C language at a young age is a definite advantage the kid’s future.
Our Programming Dojo is not simply about discovering how to assemble lines of coding, nor just enhancing their skills of programming.
We aim to also impart other positive values to our students through the use of the robots.
Through our class, students will have the opportunity to further broaden their imagination, exercise their creativity and develop new technical skills.
Students will learn how to apply programming principles to react to real-life situations.
Students will then build confidence and practice teamwork through participation in tasks / games / missions and presenting their robot programming in class.
Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) to design and build their own programmes through hands-on experience and problem solving skills.
The method adopted by the Japanese junior high school as a required subject and the robot we use is designed to be child-friendly.
Additionally, complementing the robot is an easy-to-use software called “C-style” with clear simple icon layout will allow students to create programmes intuitively even if he or she is a beginner operating a PC.
The Programming Dojo is classified into 16 courses which includes the beginner course. Each grade has “task” and “Mission”. Once you’ve completed each grade, you will be awarded an official certificate and you may advance to the next grade.
